Windows Media Player and RealPlayer

Postby TonyHarrison » Tue 30 Jun 2009 13:09

:( I recently received an email with an attachment. The attachment was to the BBC website and to "run" the BBC video I had to first download "RealPlayer" from that website. All this was successful as far as I was aware. Prior to this download all attachments, where neccessary, automatically played via Windows Media Player which I was very happy with. Now, here's my dilemma. Any emails received now, with attachments requiring a player, automatically "run" via RealPlayer and not Windows Media Player which is my preference. So, to get away from RealPlayer, do I have to uninstall those files and install at a later date if RealPlayer is required in the future or, is it possble to have Windows Media Player, not RealPLayer, as my prefered choice of "running" .wmv attachments to emails? Hey, all this infers I know what I'm doing!!!! But it's great fun!!!!! :o
